Three Great Western European War Games

By Allen Weber

There's a boat load of war games, from advanced ones to ancient history ones. Many gamers like playing Western war games. We will look at the best three games.

Empire: Total War

This is a incredibly well polished game. The developers utilized all the methods in the book to get the job done. The presentation is great and also the graphics are awesome.

The battles in this game are of epic proportion. There are scores of troops battling against each other and also you get to control your army.

The game additionally introduces naval fights, these battles are very impressive because they require tactics to win and are visually stunning.

Medieval 2: Total War

Creating a legion of a thousand troops and capturing land is the main concern of the game. The larger your military the better, because you know the enemy will do exactly the same.

Be ready for long but entertaining fights. Nothing is more fun to see your troops battling it out and beating the adversary.

As there is so much fighting going on in a large crowd, you will need a very good computer and graphics card to make everything operate correctly.

You get to take all the choices in the game and it is real cool to zoom all the way directly in to see the battles up and close or zoom all the way out to see the scope of the battle in its entirety.

The game has some great graphics, but you need a good graphics card to get the job done.

Company Of Heroes

This war game is a role playing strategy game. Certainly one of my personal favorite genre as you have a great side view of the fights and micro manage individual soldiers is made a breeze.

The game is very destructive, everything can be destroyed. The attention for detail is very high in this game. All the military soldiers you get to play with in the video game, can be upgraded to their potential.

The missions in the game are not simple capture the enemy base missions. There are a variety of missions which will keep you amused and wanting more.

The game is not for sluggish people. The action is quick and thrilling. To keep up with the speed it would benefit you to use the hot keys.

Many battle games are being released but not all of them are entertaining. Play any of these three games and be entertained.
